F-14A-80-GR "Gipsy 202" | Unit: VF-102 "Diamondbacks", US Navy Serial: 202/AС (BuNo.159437) AC202 - or 'Gipsy 202' (BuAerNo.159437) was the second F-14A involved in the clash with two Libyan MiG-23s, on 4 January 1989. The aircraft should have been flown by the wingman of that USN formation, and was used for scoring the first of two kills on that day. The second Tomcat involved in this incident was AC207 - BuAer.No.159610. It was transferred to AMARC as 1K0056 February 11, 1992.
