F-14A "Fast Eagle 107" | Unit: VF-41 'Black Aces', US Navy Serial: 107/AJ (BuNo.159437) AJ107 or 'Fast Eagle 107' was the wingman Tomcat during the clash with Libyan Su-22s, on 19 August 1981. The crew, consisting of Lt. Larry 'Music' Muczynski and Lt. James Anderson shot down the Libyan leader who caused the whole engagement by firing one K-13 missile at the Tomcats from forward aspect.
