All produced L-159A combat aircraft are flown in three-tone grey camouflage, designed by development department of Aero Vodochody. The same camouflage is carried also on the first prototype, which made its maiden flight on 18th August 1998 yet painted with red primer. Miniaturised national insignia have diameter 300 mm (remark - today all Czech AF L-159 carry grey low-visibility national insignia). Presently is on nose of No 5832 a/c painted grey Czech lion.
