Be-12 | Unit: unknown Serial: 12 The first experimental aircraft. First flew on 18th October 1960. During the tests on 24th November 1961 this aircraft was crashed in Sea of Azov and sank.

Be-14 (Be-12PS) | Unit: unknown Serial: 14 The prototype of save and rescue modification of Be-12. First flew in 1965. It was very successful aircraft but it was't produced due to lack of funds.

Be-14 (Be-12PS) | Unit: VVS of Black Sea Fleet Serial: 30 With the reduced need for Be-12s to operate in the ASW role, a number of aircraft were converted for highspeed SAR duties. Designated Ве-12PS, these lack the main weapons bay and MAD sensor. Red 30 is on the strength of the Black Sea Fleet, a number of whose aircraft have been repainted in a much darker blue-grey scheme.
