Crew: Lt.Jack E.D.Batson and Lt.Cdr.Robert B.Doremus, CVA-41 USS Midway. On 17th June 1965 they shot down Vietnamese MiG-17. Later this Phantom (VF-96) was lost February 12th, 1967 in non-combat mishap, South China Sea. Both crew killed.
