NB-52A-1-BO "The High and Mighty One"
Unit: USAF
Serial: 52-0003 (O-20003)

First flight, Summer 1954. US Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, California. Formerly B-52A-1-BO. Then it was modified to NB-52A to carry various experimental aircraft including North American X-15. The Stratofortress had its armament removed and recording cameras and other sensors. Now at Pima County Air Museum, Tucson, AZ.

One of the first Wichita-built B-52's seen as it was at the height of the Vietnam war when it was, burdened with 400lb (181kg) camouflage paint, operating from Guam. This aircraft was transferred to MASDC on 8th October 1982.
