This Heinkel He115 was captured by the Norwegians in May 1940 and evacuated to Britain in June where it was taken over by the British and overhauled for use on clandestine missions. In 1941 the aircraft went to Malta for clandestine reconnaisance in occupied North Africa. It was strafed at its moorings by Messerschmitt Bf109 s and destroyed.
