The short-range maritime recce of wooden construction, intended to replace the MBR-2 (and based on MBR-2 design). Fuselage was very clean, more powerful engine 850/960-hp M-103 drive larger VISh-2PT propeller. Armament included one turret-mounted ShKAS machinegun behind the wing and fixed ShKAS in front of pilot's cockpit. Four FAB-100 and two FAB-50 could be carried under the wing. No series production due to bad landing/take off characteristics.
