Hurricane Mk.IIb
Unit: 767th IAP, 122nd IAD, PVO
Serial: AP558

Pilot - CO of 767th IAP Maj.P.P.Yur'ev. On April 7th, 1942 he crashed on this aircraft and killed at Poduzhemye airfield, Karelia. Note: in this time IAP recently started to train Hurricanes therefore lack of fuselage code.

Important note: UK built about 300 Mk.IIb and MK.IIc from February 1941 to October 1942. They have serials AP516-AP550, AP564-AP613, etc... AP558 serial not existed! The artist take AP558 serial from the 'accident act'. One of explanation maybe it was incorrectly filled. If somebody have additional information please contact webmaster.

Yur'ev P.P.
