Hurricane Mk.II | Unit: 767th IAP, 112nd IAD, PVO Serial: AP558 Pilot - CO of 767th IAP Maj.P.P.Yur'ev. On April 7th, 1942 he crashed on this aircraft and killed at Poduzhum'e airfield. Note: in this time IAP recently started to train Hurricanes therefore lack of fuselage code.
Important note: UK built about 300 Mk.IIb and MK.IIc from February 1941 to October 1942. They have serials AP516-AP550, AP564-AP613, etc... AP558 serial not existed! The artist take AP558 serial from the 'accident act'. One of explanation maybe it was incorrectly filled. If somebody have additional information please contact webmaster.
