This plane was flown by captain Krastyo Atanasov (CO of the Bulgarian Fighter Pilot's School) on 30th March 1944. Atanasov shared in the destruction of a B-17 attacking Sofia on this day. In Bulgaria a similar 'first' belonged to the B-135.103, designated AV-135-103 a la Bulgarian. The white 3 tactical number on the fuselage was derived form the series number was repeated underneath both wing halves in black. The upper surfaces were RLM71 dark green, on wing and horizontal tail complemented by blotches of RLM70 black green. Undersurfaces were RLM65. White, green and red horizontal stripes on the rudder were part of the Bulgarian Air Force marking.

The Avia B-135.105, flown on 30th March 1944 by feldfebl Yordan Ferdinandov to attack a formation of American bombers. The white '5' tactical code number on the fuselage was derived from the machine's serial number. The same number was repeated on the underside of both wings. The top and side surfaces of the machine were painted in a uniform shade of RLM71 dark green, on the wing and tail upper surfaces complemented by a disruptive pattern of irregular stripes of RLM70 black green. The undersurfaces were in the RLM65 light blue as per standard German practice.

Flight with this Avia AV-135-112, tactical number '12', was the last one for 1943 in the logbook of Lt.Petar Manolev, instructor of the air school of the Dolna Mitropolija. The camouflage scheme was the same as with the other Bulgarian machines.
