This P-40C Tomahawk was hoisted years after from northern taiga served for northern ports Murmansk and Arkhangelsk defence. The plane flew probably in original American painting: top surfaces were covered with olive-green colour and bottom surfaces with light grey colour. Standard placed Soviet national marking was completed by number 51 placed at fuselage sides.

Pilot - Capt.Ridnyi Stepan Grigorievich. Winter 1941-1942. Moscow Air Defence. Note: Winter temporary camouflage scheme. 1st.Lt.Ridnyi was awarded as Hero of Soviet Union on 9th August 1941. He claimed 9 victories and +17 in group. He dead in crash on 17th February 1942 due to engine failure (Tomahawk AK325).
