This aircraft served with LeLv 26 from March 8th, 1940. Famous ace Tuominen claimed 13 victories (of 23 he recorded on Freccia's). Two other pilots flew this aircraft also claimed 2 additional victories. In 1944 the aircraft served with LeLv 30 and LeLv 35. It reached to February 25th, 1945 404 flight hours.

Fiat G.50 Frecia of Finnish Ilmaviomat, unit LeLv.26, year 1943. Depicted aircraft wore standard camouflage with irregular olive green and black fields on upper surfaces. Lower surface was light blue. Front part of engine cowl, strip on fuselage and lower wing-tips were yellow. Number on vertical tail is white. Board number was painted with olive green colour on black basis and with black colour on olive-green and yellow basis.

Utti, April 1940. The aircraft is still in its original Italian camouflage with green (Verde Oliva Scuro) speckled brown (Nocciola Chiaro) upper surfaces and light gray (Grigia Azzurro) lower surfaces.

On Mach 12th, 1941 this aircraft was transferred to LeLv 26. In February 1942 it was tested with skies at Kauhava air base. Last flight it made on August 19th, 1944 (with 3/TleLv). It she 390 flying hours and counted 6 victories. Note: Yellow elements were painted in 1941 over original Italian camouflage. 1.5 of little White stripe on the tail marked one victory of Aaltonen when he shot dwon Soviet SB-2bis bombers on June 25th, 1941.
