Pilot - CO of II/JG 51 Capt.Karl Rammelt. Munich-Neubiberg, December 1943. Camouflage: RLM 74/75/76. On December 28th, 1943 he was shot down on this a/c near Padua. In the next year he was seriously wounded and never flew again. He claimed 46 victories and 450 combat sorties.

The a/c as looked in August 1944, when was flown by Utfz. Willi Reschke, a successful member of the I/JG 302 Wile Sau, later holder of the Knight Cross. There was no difference in camouflage from the German standard of that time, the rear port of the fuselage was rounded by a red ringlet. Reschke had shot down a B-17 during the air battle over Moravia on August 29. 1944. but he had to perform an emergency landing al Banov, close lo Uherske Hradste due to damage of his aircraft. From his total of 26 kills. Reschke gained two kills over the Czech territory, but in both these cases he was shot down, too.

The a/c from the unidentified unit. This aircraft crashed whilst being ferried to its unit in July 1944. Aircraft is Weissblau 76 with upper surfaces in Grau 75 and Dunkelgrun 82. The upper surfaces are heavily mottled with these colours. Note that the last three digits of the Werkenummer in black on the rear fuselage and the whole number repeated on the lower part of the rudder.
