Morotai Island in the South West Pacific during March 1945. The plane was delivered in February 1945. The overshot runway and groundlooped Labaun, on 28th August 1945, written off.

Served with 464 Sqn, under RAF control during February 1944 to 17th January 1945. Participated in Amiens Prison Raid on 18th February 1944. Flt's Trites and Shanks were killed in France.

Royal Australian Air Force Mosquito PR.40s were painted overall Silver lacquer with Black anti-glare panels and spinners. This Mosquito was flown by the Survey Squadron during 1946.

According this source: Mosquito PR.Mk.XVI; Coomalie Creek, May 1945. Painted in aluminium overall. Roundels blue spinners. Black serial and codes. RAAF blue and white roundels on fuselage and upper wings. Fin flash similar.
