DAP Beaufighter Mk.21 | Unit: RAAF Serial: A8-1 First DAP Bristol Beaufighter Mk.21 flew on 26th May 1944 and was the forerunner of 364 such aircraft built for the RAAF. The last Beaufighter retired from service in 1957.

DAP Beaufighter Mk.21 | Unit: 30 (TT) Sqn, RAAF Serial: A8-265 Target towing aircraft, 1948. Carried Yellow and Black scheme to make it highly visible to the gunners it was training. Most Australian Beaufighter target tugs were painted silver on their upper surfaces with black and yellow undersurfaces. The aircraft in the profile was the first target tug conversion and was the only one painted in overall black and yellow stripes.
