Kounoike Naval Air Base, Kagoshima Prefecture, 1945. Plane armed with MXY-7 kamikadze aircraft. 722nd Kokutai is 'Training Group' for 721st Kokutai, and they transported trained crew to 721st Kokutai. Therefore, 722nd Kokutai did not move from Kounoike Base.
