Ki-15-I | Unit: Kumagawa Hikoshidan Hikotai Serial: unknown Kumagawa Hikoshidan Hikotai (Kumagawa Instructor Air Division), at Kumagawa, Japan. This machine was finished in light grey overall, apart from the black cowling, which was so painted to prevent oil leaks from being visible.

Ki-15-II | Unit: 1st chutai, 8th sentai Serial: unknown Moulmein, Burma, 1942. After an attack by a Hurricane of 28 Squadron RAF, which wounded both crew, this machine was forced down, in a relatively riddled condition. This unit was known as 'Octopus 8' or 'Flying 8' to the unit members, by virtue of the tail design.
