Neuhausen 1937-1938. Finished overall silver with the standard German markings of the period, except for the thin black outline at the ends of the bars of the fuselage crosses, and the name EYDTKUHNEN. Formed in East Prussia, the unit gave the name of a town in the area to each aircraft, which began with (he same letter as the individual machine. This was a most unusual practice. Note the black panel behind the exhaust manifold, and the peculiarly positioned pilot head above the rear fuselage in front of the fin.
