E7K1 + MXY4 | Unit: unknown Serial: ?-22 A picture of Japanese recognizing seaplane Kawanishi E7K1 with plane - flying target Kugisho MXY4 assembled on the console over the upper wing. Seaplane E7K was designed in the beginning of the thirties on the principles of 7-Shi. E7K1 served on boards of heavy warships as well as in base units of Empire War Navy till the end of the 1930s. Than they were transferred to training units and also as carriers of wireless controlled flying targets MXY3 and MXY4.

E7K2 + MXY4 | Unit: unknown Serial: ?-29 A picture of Japanese recognizing seaplane Kawanishi E7K2 with plane - flying target Kugisho MXY4 assembled on the console over the upper wing. Version E7K2 were made in the second half of the 1930s. This planes served as recognizing, escort, patrol and as training planes. At the end of war they were used also as carriers of wireless controlled flying targets MXY3 and MXY4.
