Ki-27-Kou type 97 model A | Unit: 1st chutai, 11th sentai Serial: unknown On July 25th, 1939, M.Sgt. Shintaro Kashima performed emergency landing with this Nakajima Ki-27-Kou behind the enemy lines. The aircraft was subsequently captured by Soviet troops. The diagonal band on the fuselage probably indicated a Shotai CO. Kashima was a member of 4th Chutai of 11th Sentai.
