Hispano-Suiza geared, Vickers build SE.5a B574, flown by 2nd Lt.T.Vernon-Lord, 84th Squadron RFC in October 1917. The plane fell into German hands after a fight with Jasta 15 pilots on October 15, 1917. Lord became POW. According to other sources, B574 was shot down on 21 October 1917 by Lt. Fritz Berkemeyer of Jasta 27, his 4th victory, south of Rumbeke. The pilot of the SE.5a B574 was given as 2nd Lt. A.E. Hempel, MIA.
