Pfalz D.III
Unit: Jasta 10
Serial: 1371/17

Pilot - Lt.d.R. Friedrich Rudenberg in late 1917. The aircraft was marked with the chrome yellow nose, struts and wheel covers that were distinctive to that unit. The color of the tail stripes is suggested red, however, should be black or some other color, too. Note the small Pfalz Company logos on the wing struts an on the wheel disks.

Pfalz D.III
Unit: Jasta 10
Serial: 1395/17

Pilot - Lt.Alois Heldmann (15 victories). In 1917. The camouflage consisted of fields of dark-green and light-violet colours over the upper and lateral flats, from the bottom the machine is painted with aluminium colour.

Some D.III of the initial production batch were painted in two-tone upper surfaces camouflage, the lower surfaces remained silver. The exact colors are not reported, the aircraft are mostly introduced in green and mauve pattern. Newer studies say that the mauve was actually a brown color.
