May 1917. Standard production finish of over all Light Yellow (Jaune Clair) Varnished Doped Fabric. Metal Areas are in darken tone of Light Yellow (Caramel Colour). Codes are in Black, Rudder stripes are English Blue, White and English Red. English roundels are top and bottom of wings with English Blue outer, white and English Red Inner. Roundels on the outer wheel hubs In Red, White, and Blue and Red, White, and Blue fuselage strips. French built aircraft.

Pilot - Lieutenant Balme RFC. It was shot down on the 10th October 1917. Standard production finish of over all Light Yellow (Jaune Clair) Varnished Doped Fabric. Metal Areas are in darken tone of Light Yellow (Caramel Colour). Codes are in Black, Rudder stripes are English Blue, White and English Red. English roundels are top, bottom wings and fuselage sides are in English Blue outer, white and English Red Inner. Radiator cowling are believed to be in Red and White. French built aircraft.

La Lovie airfield, The Western Front, Summer 1917. Original clear doped fabric-covered areas and Light Yellow forward fuselage hastily overpainted with PC 10; fuselage undersides may have also been doped in that colour. Full-chord diameter RFC cockades above the wing, with smaller diameter roundel segments of different shade on ailerons (possibly replacements). Serial number superimposed on the original clear-doped rectangle. Starboard side of the windscreen removed.

Number 4 is in Black, Radiator cowling and fuselage strips are believed to be in Red and White and fin is believed to be in Red.
