Nieuport 23 C1
Unit: II KAO, 1st BAG
Serial: N2658

The caption if absolutely wrong. Baron Kreivi van Rosenin never served in Russian army and did't concern to this aircraft. In reality this is Nieuport 23C1 from IInd KAO, 1st BAG. It was sent to South-Western front in end of August 1917. The plane carried standard French markings (on this profile markings are WRONG!) and probably before sending to Russia was served in some French unit. In Russia this plane flew not to much. Piloted by ensign Krisanov it was shot down in beginning of September 1917 and fell down to enemy side. Note: swastika probably was Black or Red.
