Chin Shui-Tin "Arthur/Art"(23.10.1913 - 03.09.1993)

He was American pilot of Chinese origin (his father was Chinese, mother was from Peru). In early 1930's he was one of 15 Americans of Chinese descent who were able to start flying in the USA. In 1937-1939 he fought in China against Japanese as fighter Squadron CO, then as Group CO. He was POW, but escaped. He retired from Chinese AF in March 1945, then he flew with CNAC as USAAF officer over the dangerous "Hump" route through the Himalayas into China. In 1950 he retired and returned to USA. He unable to find work with the airlines and worked at a local post office.
