Soviet fighter pilot. He flew with 515th IAP since 1943. He claimed 12 victories (+3 in group).
After the war he flew with 523th IAP, 303th IAD during Korean War. He scored 11 victories (+1 in group), including B-29 bombers. On 13th Noveber 1951 he was reward with Hero of the Soviet Union. Since 1959 he in stock. Stepan Bakhaev dead on 5th July 1995.
