1919 to 1921

Georgia become independent from Russia in May 1918. Throughout 1919 and into 1920
there was considerable British involvement which resulted in military assistance,
including the supply of aircraft. Italy also provided aircraft in late 1920. Some of
these machines bore Georgian insignia, a red cross on a white disc, on fiselage and
wings. Georgia was absorbed by USSR in February 1921.
1921 to 1991
Georgia was a part of USSR and does not have own military.
