The bands of national colours were painted on the wings. The main markings in the White square were painted on the fuselage.

Wings and fuselage

Fin Flash

The main marking is displayed on the fuselage sides of the helicopters, and in the standard six positions on aircraft. The national flag is carried as a fin flash (some early aircraft don't carried it). Most of the larger aircraft carry the title IRISH AIR CORPS - AER CHOR na h-EIREANN on the fuselage side.
