The main marking is displayed in 6 positions (ie above and below each wing and on each side of the fuselage) on aircraft. The fin flash is displayed on the rudder.

Example: Sukhoi Su-25/Su-39 Frogfoot/Scorpion
Example: Cessna A-37/T-37 Dragonfly

Sometimes fuselage roundels absent.

Example: Dassault Mirage 2000

Very rarely some aircraft wore rudder painted in national tricolour and no fin flash.

Tailfin

The main marking is displayed in 6 positions (ie above and below each wing, and on each side of the fuselage) on aircraft - but on fuselage sides only on helicopters. The fin flash is displayed on the tailfin. Usually the inscription 'NAVAL' is written on the fuselage sides.

Sometimes aircraft wore rudder painted in national tricolour and no fin flash.
