Naval Aviation Corps (Cuerpo de Aviacion Naval)

The Cuerpo de Aviacion Naval was activated in December 1951 with one RC-3 Seabee. In February 1952 they received 4 PBY-5A from the United States. The Naval Aviation Corps was only disbanded on the 3 November 1952 and the aircraft were integrated into the Cuerpo de Aviacion Militar Dominicana. The main marking is displayed in 2 positions on the fuselage sides of aircraft. The fin flash is displayed on the tailfin. Most aircraft have GC (Guardacostas) applied on the fuselage and the serial number.

The Escuadron de Caballeria Aerea (Airborne Cavalry Squadron) was formed in October 2002 to use the aquired Robinson helicopters and from May 2003 11 UH-1H. The main marking is displayed in 2 positions on the fuselage sides of the helicopters. The fin flash is displayed on the tailfin. Most helicopters have EN applied on the fuselage and the serial number.
