1981 to 1989

During the period of confederation with Senegal, Gambia had little air wing inside part of confederation forces. Most probably aircraft wore Senegalese markings. After confederation break-up, Gambia lost all aircraft.

2003 to Present


Tailfin

Only Gambian AF aircraft is ex Georgian Su-25KM Scorpion bought in April 2003. It wears National flag markings on the tail only. On the wing roughly overpainted previous Georgian markings. Gambia plans to bought flight of Su-25 in Russia.
