Serial: 910/GA (BuNo.146871)
Unit: VFP-62 "Fightin' Photo", US Navy

Cdr William Ecker flew this RF-8A (GA-910/BuNo.146871) while CO of VFP-62 'Fightin' Photo' in October of 1962. This Squadron deployed from NAS Cecil Field to NAS Key West, Florida during Operation BLUE MOON, the low-level reconnaissance missions flown over Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
