Unit: 334th FS, 4th FG, 8th AF, USAAF

Pilot - 1st Lt. William Brewster Morgan ('Brew'), Honolulu, Hawaii. To 334th FS 15/9/42 from 71 'Eagle' Squadron. MIA 21/5/43, when shot down into North Sea off Ostend by enemy fighters. Became POW. P-47D-1-RE 42-7919 was Morgan's aircraft in spring 1943.
