Pilot - Maj. Winslow M.Sobanski 'Mike', New York City, New York. To 334th FS 25/5/43 until KIA on D-Day. 'A' Flight CO from 29/11/43, Squadron CO April 1944. 'Mike III', P-47D-1-RE 42-7924. Flown by Sobanski, July 1943, on the first drop-tank mission.
