Vickers Type 54 Viking - Canada

Unit: 3 (Operation) Sqn, RCAF

Formed in 1925 at Rockcliffe, the Squadron flew civil government air operations (forestry patrols and photo research). The British Viking was first flown in late 1919. Progressive improvements led to the Mk. IV of which 8 were ordered by Canada. These served until 1931.
