  • In December 1934 she was commissioned.
  • Her Osprey hydroplanes located on the platform and launched with catapult. The cruiser served as scout-cruiser of main fleet forces.
  • In 1937-1938 she was modernized.
  • In May 1941 she found German battleship Bismark sailed to Atlantic. This event started "Hunt for Bismark".
  • In 1944 her airplanes became absolutely outdated and she was converted to anti-aircraft cruiser.
  • Until 1956 she was used as training ship, then decommissioned.
  • In 1962 she was sold for scrap.
