  • She was commissioned in June 1943.
  • She still at the Puget Sound Navy Yard until July 18th 1943 then proceed to Vancouver, British Columbia where she was decommissioned and transferred to Royal Navy under Lend-Lease programme.

  • In the second half of 1943 she was modified for Royal Navy standards.
  • In May 1944 she sailed to the Indian Ocean (and convoyed KMF-31 to the Mediterranean).
  • In the second half of 1944 she provided trade protection in the Indian Ocean.
  • In early 1945 she took part in operations in Burma and Netherlands East Indies.
  • In June-July 1945 she took part in photographic reconnaissance missions over Malaya, Phuket, and in the strikes against Sumatra airfields, Northern Malaya.
  • In August 1945 she participated in the Singapore reoccupation.
  • She returned to the USA in January 1946.
  • She was stricken for disposal in March 1946.
  • She was sold to the merchant service as M.V.Robin Kirk in September 1946.
  • She was scrapped in Taiwan in 1969.
