In Summer 1976 she operated in Indian Ocean off Kenya in response of Ugandan Force invasion in this country. In the end of 1970's and during 1980's she made several tours in Pacific and Indian Ocean. In January-February 1991 she took part in the Operation Desert Storm. On April 21st, 1992 in she participated in 50th anniversary of Doolittle raid. Two restored B-25 Mitchell bombers took off from her deck. In the second half of 1992 she operated in Persian Gulf and provided patrol missions in "No Fly" zone in South of Iraq. In December 1992 she support in USMC operations in Somalia. In July 1993 she was decommissioned to reserve. In 2004 some sources said she was available for donation as a museum, but her fate still unclear. Nowadays she located at Bremerton, Washington.
