In March 1944 she was commissioned. In Summer 1944 she used for training in California. In Autumn 1944 ferried aircraft to Hawaii and to Manus, Admiralties. From November 1944 to January 1945 she served as trainer off Hawaii. In February-April 1945 she protected logistics ships operating in support of airstrikes against enemy targets from the Bonins to the Ryukyus. In April 1945 she took part in fights over Okinawa. In May 1945 she strikes Ryukyus. In May-July 1945 she served as trainer off Marianas. In end of 1945 - beginning of 1946 she took part in the operation Magic Carpet - repatriation of American military personnel from Pacific. In August of 1946 she was decommissioned in reserve. In 1955 she was reclassified as CVU-91. In 1961 she was destroyed as target.
