She was commissioned in March 1944. In November 1944 she patrolled in Philippines area. In February-March 1945 she supported operations over Iwo Jima. In March-June 1945 she supported the Okinawa campaign . In August 1945 she sailed San Pedro, USA overhaul. In October-December 1945 she took part in Operation "Magic Carpet" duty, and made several trips from Hawaii, Eniwetok and Okinawa to USA. In July 1946 she was decommissioned. She was sold for scrapping in 1959.
