Fate: converted to theme park
  • In 1975 she was launched at Nikolayev, Black Sea.
  • In November 1978 she was commissioned to the Pacific Fleet.
  • In February-July 1979 she sailed (around Africa) to Vladivostok, Far East.
  • In 1980-1981 Yak-38 VTOL's tested at her board.
  • In 1982 she visited Bombay, India.
  • In 1986 she visited Wonsan, North Korea.
  • In 1991 she must to sail to Nikolayev, Black Sea but due to lake of funds and independence of Ukraine (where Nikolayev located) she laid up at Sovavani bay.
  • In 1994 she was decommissioned.
  • In 1995 she was sold as scrap to South Korea.
  • In 2000 she was bought by Chinese company and used as part of a military theme park in Shenzhen called Minsk World.
  • In 2006 she was auctioned off in Shenzhen for 16 million USD to CITIC Shenzhen, the current operator. The further fate of the ship remain undecided...
