  • She was served in the Black Sea Fleet. During his operational history she has 11 tours in Mediterranean Sea and 2 in Atlantic.
  • In 1972 she tested Yak-36M VTOL.
  • In 1974 she helped Egyptians clear mines in Suez Canal.
  • On February 2nd, 1975 she was seriously damaged by fire. 3 man killed, 26 were wounded.
  • In 1993 she operated last time.
  • In 1994 she was decommissioned to reserve.
  • In 1995 she was renamed PKR No.108 (her "Moscow" name was given to the guided missile cruiser "Slava" proj.1164).
  • In 1997 she was sold for scrapping to India.
