  • In 1969 she was commissioned to Black Sea Fleet.
  • During her service she took part in many international exercises, has many tours to the Mediterranean, Baltic Sea, Atlantic and visited many foreign countries.
  • In March 1972 she help to save and rescue K-19 atomic submarine.
  • In 1974 she helped Egyptians clear mines in Suez Canal.
  • In 1977-1978 she has middle repair.
  • In 1984 she clear mines in Red Sea off Yemen and Ethiopia.
  • In 1985-1987 she has overhauled.
  • In 1990 she made last tour to the Mediterranean Sea.
  • In 1991 due to financial problems she was decommissioned.
  • In 1992 she was undismantled.
  • In 1995 she was sold for scrapping to India.
