  • In August 1918 oil barge "Frantsia" (France) was converted to seaplane tender barge. She carriers 6 M-9 flying boats + 3 Nieuport 27 fighters operated from the bank. Conversion was made by Sormovski factory. She was named "Kommuna" (Commune) and joined Volga Flotilla.
  • From August 1918 she successfully fought against White Guards at Volga river with Samara Aerial Squadron.
  • In 1921 she was converted back to the oil barge.
